Dr. Fred Jackson Herndon, MD

Dr Herndon is extremely patient. I have memory issues and he is always very calm and thorough when discussing with me. I have confidence in him. I am very pleased that I connected with his office after moving here a year ago.

Dr. Herndon is very thorough in asking questions and checking vitals. He made several recommendations and had his staff setup tests that I needed. He asked me if I had questions and answered them completely, and clarified everything that I didn’t understand. He seems to be a quiet man, but completely responsive. His staff are very nice and very helpful. All in all, a good experience that left me feeling well taken care of.

This was my first visit with Dr. Herndon. I needed a Primary Care Doc due to recent complications related from Cancer Surgeries. I was very impressed with his overall service and care he provided. He did his homework on my Medical records which I have a lot of. Thank you Dr. Herndon.

I have been seeing Dr. Herndon for about 12 years and at least half the time the staff is rude and unprofessional and as much as I hate to think it I believe it is coming with instructions from Dr. Herndon. As stated I have been a patient of Dr. Herndon for quite some time, but it still took me 6 weeks to get an appointment with him. I needed to fast before the appointment which was at 11am only to show up for my appointment to be told it had been rescheduled. I know he is busy but I think when your office makes a mistake you should do what ever is necessary to make it right and or at least say you are sorry. The staff or Dr. Herndon had no sympathy for my situation. I had taken off work not eaten all morning and they tell my I have to do it all again on Friday, but now my appointment is even later. I would not start building a relationship with this Dr. or his office as he obviously isn't concerned about loosing patients.

Dr. Herndon was recommended to me 10 years ago by my next door neighbor who is a physician himself. Herndon is my neighbor's doctor, so I figured that was a good indication of his quality. Fred Herndon cares about his patients. He is a good listener and a thoughtful diagnostician. Staff members come and go, but the current group of folks are outstanding. When I have had to see one of the other doctors on the team due to a medical emergency when Dr. Herndon was not in the office, I have been impressed with them, too. You can't go wrong with this clinic and with Fred Herndon in particular.
