Dr. Fred William Miller, MD

Excellent bedside manner. Takes his time. Very thorough. Listens to concerns and investigates. Takes great care.

Dr Miller was highly recommended by tons of women to me. He was the first OB I went to who I felt was competent and caring. He spent a LONG time with me at my first prenatal visit and went over everything and anything about the pregnancy and how it would go, what to expect, etc. He did not make me feel rushed. His care throughout the pregnancy was top notch, as was delivery. I would recommend him to anyone.

I went to Dr. Fred Miller III throughout my first pregnancy when he was located at his Montclair office, and I am concerned about his treatment of patients and women in general. Without warning or discussion, he gave me a very rough, painful and traumatizing cervical exam, after which I asked him what had happened, and he dismissed me and laughed, saying "Oh yeah, that can be uncomfortable!" During other appointments he would dismiss physical symptoms and concerns related to my pregnancy. I see patients myself, and unsolicited , I heard of other patient stories of disrespect and distress, and when others looked him up they found a malpractice suit in his history. I am concerned about his ability to treat his female patients with the dignity they deserve, and I was so relieved that when my first baby was born, he was on vacation so I was connected to a covering physician, to whom I switched all of my care and felt much safer with. I also always waited 1.5-2 hours to be seen for… appointments. Please reconsider before seeing this doctor.

Dr. Miller is just the best doctor I have ever seen. I do extensive research on the doctors I go to see because I have health anxiety. Dr. Miller treated me with patience, kindness, and empathy. He performed a surgical procedure and it went wonderfully despite my being a nervous, anxious, maniac. I would recommend him to anyone, any day. My mother started seeing him after how much I raved about him. I'm so happy I met him. Thank god for doctors that still care and do it for the patients. I respect this man, all of his decisions, and I'm confident that he would never steer me wrong. Thank you!

What a lovely, thorough and compassionate doctor. You will not find a better OBGYN than Dr. Miller. Takes time to talk and ask questions.

I started with Dr. Miller when he was located in Montclair. He is a very nice doctor, good bedside manner and will answer whatever questions you may have for him. His staff is very courteous and helpful. Making appointments to see him are within a reasonable time frame. I would definately recommend him to anyone searching for a new gynecologist

I have a history of cysts, which flared up last Mon. By Thurs, I was vomiting and fainting from pain. I called the office dozens of times and left messages Thurs, Fri, and then Mon. Finally on Mon, the receptionist sent me for an ultrasound. I called Wed for results, receptionist said it would take a week. I offered to fax results since I had picked up a copy from the radiologist which confirmed cysts. I again stressed the pain I am in. Was told the doctor would call me back, that was 2 days ago

From the moment he showed up at my 20 year old daughter's bedside he exuded confidence and calm assurance so we knew we were in the best possible hands and that all would be well. It all was. He kept us informed all the way. He came highly recommended and lived up to it!

He is so kind. He wipes away any fears you may have even if they have nothing to do with the profession or the visit. Great bedside manner in the office and hospital. Love him.
