Dr. Fred Mark Novice, MD

I highly recommend Dr. novice and the new Dr. Novice, his daughter. I have been a patient since 2000, along with my family. The practice is very professional, and great results. The two PA’s (both named Erin) are very great as well!

As a new patient, I would expect to at least be treated courteously. Doesn't seem like much to ask but it didn't happen. Admin actually hung up with me on the phone when I called to get assistance. Thought it was a mistake, so I called back. They hung up again. Don't go here, they do not want to help.

I arrived on time for my appointment. I asked if the Doctor was running on time and was told he was. I was immediately put in a room, the nurse spoke with me letting me know that I had some “product” left at which time I told her that I was going to use up what I had left and was not prepared to spend any more money at this time. She told me that the Doctor would be in shortly. 50 minuets later, I left! In the time that I waited for the Doctor, no one ever came into the room to communicate with me! No one let me know that the Doctor was running late! No one spoke to me after I was put into the room! I was left to wait and wait and wait!!!

Whenever I have been to see Dr. Novis his staff is always trying to push treatments on me. No matter what it is, whether I need it or not, they always feel I need it because obviously my face is a disaster!

Awesome...everything! :) My young Sons, and myself have been patients of Dr. Novice and his staff for years and appreciate their professionalism, kindness and most importantly their expertise!!

Great doctor

I developed a dark spot on my skin. I made an appointment at Dr Novice's office to have the spot checked out to rule out skin cancer. When I arrived I was placed in a patient room. Before the doctor came in, I was offered a series of skin products and services (dermabrasion and other skin treatments) that were cosmetic. I felt I was viewing a live infomercial with an obvious purpose to sell me something. When the doctor arrived, he looked at the spot on my skin and took a biopsy to send out for testing. It took about 5 min. I stopped at the front desk. The receptionist said the bill was just under $500. I was a bit shocked. I offered her my insurance card. She refused it, saying the doctor needed payment in full. I would have to deal with the insurance company on my own. I assume the results of the biopsy were negative because I did not hear from the doctor again. I'm writing this review almost a year after my visit. My review is prompted by an unsolicited email I… received from Dr Novice's office trying to sell me sunscreen. I found the original experience negative, and I find the email solicitation offensive.

Very knowledgeable and up to date with product information. Though I would recommend him, be prepared to be seen and then rushed out the door.
