Explains things well in lay language. Respectful of patient's level of understanding. Good sense of humor. Follows up to ensure good outcomes long-term. One example of Dr. Singer's care: I developed painful swelling in right arm. To ensure proper diagnosis and treatment, he arranged for three doctors to see me. One ruled out any conditions in his specialty. The other two worked together (an internist and a surgeon) to properly diagnose venous thoracic outlet syndrome (a rare condition), compounded with a blood clotting factor that makes my blood clot more easily than most people's (another rather rare condition), and treat it both surgically and medically, working as a sort of "yin-and-yang" tag team. Dr. Singer ensured I received the best possible treatment. My arm is completely normal today because of his expertise and complete lack of reluctance to quickly bring in other physicians to build upon his expertise. I couldn't ask for a better primary care physician. I no longer see… Dr. Singer only because I moved out of the region.
