Dr. Fred Sims Stucky III, MD

Dr. Stucky has left the wound from my husband's right foot metatarsal amputation open for the past 11-1/2 months. He told my husband his left foot looked "fantastic" two weeks before he did a below knee amputation for osteomyelitis. I asked for an x-ray to confirm that all of the osteomyelitis was clear from the remaining stump of the right foot and he refused and told me there were no clinical signs. Well, no - there wouldn't be - because osteomyelitis is diagnosed with an x-ray, MRI or bone scan. Why should I trust his clinical assessment because it certainly wasn't very good for the left foot, was it? Now my husband has received his prosthetic leg for the left amputation and Dr. Stucky has refused to give us orders for in-house admission to a rehabilitation facility. I called the office and my son called the office asking again for the orders because my husband has fallen three times in less than 36 hours and I've heard nothing back from them. I feel he has truly abandoned my… husband and I feel my husband's life is at risk with his falls and Dr. Stucky's failure to respond to our request. Dr. Stucky wants home therapy. That just isn't possible - and we are in the middle of a pandemic and I am not comfortable with strangers coming to my home daily for therapy - and the falls are a huge concern at this point. The doctor literally walked out of the examination room earlier this week when I was in the middle of asking him a question. I found that to be rude and inexcusable. I've been in the medical field for 40+ years and I've never seen another physician treat a patient or their family member accompanying them in such an unprofessional manner.

Performed AAA repair and have never had a problem. One hellof a nice guy. Great staff always overly nice! Highly recommend!

Dr.Stucky is one of the best Dr. I have been to. He explains things in a way that I understood everything that What he was going to do to fix my problem. Everything went great, two weeks later I feel like a new man, thank you so very much.

I have been seeing Dr. Stucky for PVD for many years. He saved my right leg and I just don't see how you could get a better surgeon. Yes, there might be a wait but let me tell you....his staff is excellent! Especially his Nurse Shelly. As a team they have successfully operated on and saved my right leg from amputation. Please, if you have a choice of surgeons see Dr. Stucky and his team. You won't regret it!

Dissatisfied with the surgery and service by Dr. Stucky, in addition, I simply felt he didn't care about our needs.

We have been to two appointments with Dr. Stucky, and where he may be an okay doctor, his practice of leaving patients waiting in the exam room for exhorbant amount of time is unacceptable. His office & practice is not that busy, and I t it shows he doesn't value our time.

Dr. Stucky is one of the finest and most professional Doctors I have ever met. He has saved my right leg and continues the great care. His staff is attentive, friendly and professional.

Personable, professional, knowledgeable. Great doctor!
