Dr Fred Chukwuemek Umeh

I have been seeing Dr Umeh for about a year. I found him to be knowledgeable & professional with a caring bedside manner. The staff is usually helpful, except for the billing staff. I was being charged copays when they were told by the insurance company I did not have to pay because I had Medicare & BC. Billing was called several times and sent written correspondence, by the insurance company to refund the money I paid for copays (4) visits. Billing would tell BC the check would be coming in X amount of days. I have stopped by the office to talk to someone and the front desk said she would send an email and they would contact me. Well, that never happened. Although they only owe me for 4 visits ($40), it seems nonsensical not to return a senior citizen, living on a fixed income, unless they are cheating other patients as well. Dr Umeh told me I needed to increase my CPAP pressure in Jan. I needed a script for medical supplies and I never received one. Someone told me they would get… back to me and they never did.

I have been a patient Dr. Fred Umeh. He was able to diagnose my lungs problems. I have COPD & IPF. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR UHEM.

He is very knowledgeable, and he pays attention to what you said. After so many years having uncontrolled asthma , I am finally under control and it feel so good to be able to breath again normal .??

Dr. Umeh is an excellent physician. He is super knowledgeable and educational. He treats his patient as a whole, not only just looking at the lung problem. He is more than a pulmonologist. He has great bedside manner with his humor. I am very lucky to have him as my doctor. I highly recommend him for anyone who is seeking a pulmonologist.
