Dr. Fred Usoh, MD

Dr Usoh was very informative and compassionate. He is very kind and took the time to answer all of my questions, He is very gentle and caring. I was taken in on time and the nurse was very helpful in explaining everything and scheduling me for my next appointment. Dr.. did my procedure with ease. I would highly recommend Dr. Usoh

I have been treating with Dr. Usoh for three years. I missed my appointment because I had been out of work for a few months and was starting a new job. My work orientation day fell on my appointment with Dr. Usoh (Friday) so I called the office to reschedule my appointment. I explained to Michelle at the office I was going to be going nights (Monday) and could make myself available anytime during the day. Michelle was very rude and had NO concern whatsoever for my situation. I was told, sorry, you missed your appointment and Dr. Usoh cannot see you back until next month. So I asked, I will not be seen this month, you will not reschedule me, what will I do without my monthly medication? Michelle did not care and was very rude and short with me. I said my medication was due for a refill and if it wasn't filled I would end up going through withdrawals. I was told, sorry, you missed your appointment and now you have to wait until next month to be seen. So I now have no medication… this month and the office refuses to reschedule me. I called the office again and was told that he was overbooked and it was my fault I missed my appointment and that Dr. Usoh will not reschedule you! I explained that I had to take this new position because I was not working for over two months. I was told again, it is your fault you missed your appointment and Dr. Usoh will not give you an appointment, he will not reschedule you this month and he will not try to squeeze you in and that if you go through withdrawals then just go to the Emergency Room. Is this not illegal, to deny treatment? Evidently, he is more inclined to help the patients scheduling for outpatient shots who are making him monies. I spend three years paying off bills for a costly outpatient epidural the doctor did. What kind of doctor leaves their patient, who is on pain medication for severe pain, refusing to reschedule, telling his staff to rudely tell you to come back in 30 days? On my first visit with Dr. Usoh I was told he had a family emergency and I waited over two and half hours to see him. Cannot give the same courtesy after being a patient for over three years? Very unprofessional and down right negligent behavior. Please find a better caring doctor even if you have to travel outside the area.

I have had several visits with Dr. Usoh treating my back problems. He has always been courteous and professional and in my opinion exceptional

I have been to Dr. Usho several times and have had great results for pain management for spinal arthritis and Sacroiliitis. I find him to be friendly and very informative. He explained my treatment in detail and showed me on visual tool. I had incredible pain the weekend before I went on vacation and he called me at home on a Saturday to prescribe medication to help with the pain. He actually remembered that I was going on vacation and wanted it to be enjoyable. Yes, sometimes the wait is a little bit long, but he does pop his head in to acknowledge that he knows you are there. I have not encountered any other doctor who does this. I am not sure how anyone can give him bad grades, but I say he is excellent!

Very unprofessional and very rude. I thought you are suppose to ask your doctors questions about your issue and treatment. Does not answer your questions and becomes irate when asked to explain anything. I was never spoke to or treated So badly by a doctor as I was with him. He should not be treating people in pain.

Appointment was at 1, the nurse took me to exam room at 1.20. She spent 10 or 12 minutes going over the information. 15 minutes later he stuck his head and said he would be with me shortly. It was 25 minutes when finally came in. I was there for leg pain that me be caused by 3 compressed discs in my lower. After telling him 3 times I had no back pain we move on. He has ears but he doesn't listen. He didn't want to hear about the numbness that came with the pain. When I told him the diabetic doctor said it wasn't diabetic neuropathy but pressure on a never. He dismissed it if the doctor didn't know what he was talking about. Very UNPROFESSIONAL. All he want to do was to do an injection in my lower back. I found him patient unfriendly.

Dr. Usoh is knowledgeable, courteous, explained procedure in detail, results in my hip pain were so much better than anticipated. I would highly recommend to this doctor!

Be prepared to wait, or walk out of Dr. Usohs office. My first (consultation) visit I waited 2 hrs after my appt time. 2nd appt was avg wait. 3rd appt office said wait could be an hr or longer so I rescheduled. My rescheduled appt I called before appt to see if dr. was on schedule & office said yes. I waited 50 min before put in exam room. Waited in exam room another half hr before dr. came in. Dr. seemed kind of agitated, not very friendly, interrupted answers & seemed annoyed when asked to repeat. I had 3 pain injections & therapy which didnt help. He “basically” just threw his hands up in the air & made me feel there was nothing more he could do for me. I’m sure I came across as agitated too because of the 1 1/2 hr wait. My time is just as important as doctor’s. Totally uncalled for!

Terrible doesn’t know what is happening to patients

Dr usoh kept me waiting an hour and half in waiting room and when I did see him I felt like we were not connecting in any way...needless to say we came up with a plan that we both agreed on. well, that plan never happened which left me extremely confused so I called him which he didn't call me back. the receptionist called me like she was the middleman so it got even more confusing. I waited for an hour and a half in waiting room to see him only to find out that this was a waste of time..to me he is very uncaring and I am just a number. it seems like he picks and chooses the patience he wants to take care of ..what better for him. I'm not a complicated case..he made me feel like I was bothering him...what happened to the caring and compassionate drs? I was very dissapointed in his mannerism ..maybe someone else will have better luck than I did
