Dr. Fred Martin Weinblatt, MD

The appointment took a half a year to get, and his secretary called me a week prior to ask me for my referral. My insurance doesn't require a referral. So, they requested a write up and documentation from me. He clearly only glanced over it or didn't even read it altogether, because they quickly called back and lied saying I didn't need to see a Neurologist altogether to wipe me off their schedule. If the materials were read at all, it was 100% a Neurologist topic. This doctor just refuses to see anyone without a referral (regardless of your insurance), likely age discriminates and didn't show much courtesy to me, wastes half a year scheduling, and overlooks details.

Doctor Weinblatt is one of the Best Doc's I ever had in a Long line of Physicians. He has given me life in struggle with Parkinson's, thank you.

Weinblatt did little to impress me. Revoked my driver's license based on some Mickey mouse test he drew up to make me fail. I have a legal Pa license for over 25 Years with zero driving violations. I think it's time to test this Fraud so called expert. I will put my driving record against his anytime. Maybe his Neurology buddies need to take a look at his mental state a little closer.

He called me dramatic! He also told me a story about a shreddded spinal cord accident one of his colleagues performed. I don’t recommend seeing Dr. Weinblatt for anything. I wouldn’t even take my dog to him.

I saw him for more than a couple years for RLS. He put me on Percocet - 2 per day. I took them for a couple years until one month when it was time for an appointment and a refill. He was gone and I couldn't find him. I went to his ex-partner, who didn't agree with the Percocet treatment, and begged for a refill rather than go off this medication cold turkey. He gave me the refill, and within that month I found Weinblatt at a relocated address. There was no apology for what he had done to me and other patients; he just said a letter was in the process of going out to all of us. To this day I have never received one. I think what he did was unforgivable. I found a new doctor I can respect and trust.

Dr. Weinblatt talked the entire time; the only question he asked was our purpose for being there; he seemed to be defending off our asking questions; my husband has dementia & I have several question about his condition and his prognosis; our first neurologist was at the same practice and we had the same treatment from him; I thought with Dr. Weinblatt's reviews that he was a good choice but I guess I was wrong; not sure what to do next.

Very intelligent. Took time to explain everything and started with natural supplements for my ocular migraines. It worked! He was also very kind and did not rush.

PATIENT BEWARE: Not sure how many of Dr. Fred M Weinblat's friends and family must have written reviews to pump his ratings up to 3.8 Stars, but I was disgusted by his attidtude toward me on my visit to him. I have never felt more belittled, insulted, and misunderstood by a doctor in my life and would NEVER recommend him to anyone for compassionate care. I actually left his office in tears. He listened to me about as well as Helen Keller and had worse bedside manner than Dr Kervorkian. My regret at this point is that I can only rate him as low as 1 Star on this website... my preference would be zero or below.

I was referred to Dr. Weinblatt in 2011, after getting an MRI and receiving results stating that I had a few lesions in my brain. I hoped Dr. Weinblatt could help me rule out MS, as I was also having symptoms including facial numbness at the time. Instead, my questions and concerns were dismissed. He had total confidence the lesions were caused by migraines, the numbness in my face he completely wrote off, and he said that there was no way I had MS and did not order further tests. He instead made inappropriate comments towards me, questioned why I wasn't currently in school, and just made the whole thing incredibly uncomfortable and frustrating. Five years later, I have an MS diagnosis. This man is absolutely dangerous and everyone seeing him or planning to should proceed with caution. Do not put your health at risk by trusting this man. See another neuro.
