Dr. Fred Robert Wurster, DO

I would never recommend him as a doctor to anyone! He comes off as he doesnt care, doesnt have time and doesnt believe a word you say. The staff is VERY unprofessional and violates HIPPA constantly. Just sit in the waiting room and see for yourself.

At first I couldn't figure out if Dr Wurster didn't know or didn't care. It was both. No phone call after 11 blood work results came back wildly out of range. He told me that neither of my blood pressure medications were diuretics when they both are. I didn't bother to correct him because at that point I had already decided to find another doctor. Office staff is very unprofessional.

Contentious, condescending, arrogant, sarcastic and imperious. If you want to pay to have someone demean and belittle you, he is the Dr. for you!

The office was cold when I had to undress for a physical. I only met him briefly but he was friendly and nice. I have no intentions, thus far, in switching my doctor.

I am a long time patient and am currently waiting in the reception area for 47 min so far and still haven't been called back. Now I am in the back waited 23 min for the Doctor and was in and out maybe with me for 5 min. I hate that! Sharon and Amanda bsing with other people when there are patients waiting. Finally after over an hour I am finally leaving, the only person that was nice and appoligized for the wait was the receptionist. No one else said anything! Changing doctors soon!!!!!

He's been my doctor for 3 years and he still has shown little effort to familiarize himself with my autoimmune disorder, and most of the nursing staff are quite snippy most of the time.

I went to dr Wurster once. when I first got there I had to wait for the receptionist to finish with a personal call. then I sat in the waiting room. watched a woman wait while receptionist and nurse talked for 5minutes. then went to room and sat for 45 minutes. heard the doctor talking to another patient about things not related to medical things. then he came in for 5 minutes never told me what was wrong wrote 2 prescriptions and said if it doesnt work call. its been a month and its way worse. id rather be in pain then see him again. definitely dont recommend him whatsoever!!!!

I highly recommend Dr. Wurster....he literally saved my life.

I want to give this man a very large thank you! 20 years ago I was a very active jr high student at Imlay city High school! My mom took me in for what we thought was appendicitis. After reviewing my xrays Dr.Wurster did not like what he saw so he sent me straight over to a lung specialist. He got a portion of my right lung in the xray and noticed a very large black spot. Instead of blowing it off he took it very very seriously! Thanks to this man I have lived a very healthy life! This spot was a cyst that was filling up with air everytime I was breathing in but not allowing any air out. It was causing pressure on my lungs and without surgery I had a 6 month chance of survival. Thanks to this man I man I am now married with 3 wonderful kids and have lived a very healthy active life! I run and played sports and can do ANYTHING that all other people can with no worries! Thanks to Dr. Wurster I am still here!

i lost my mother 2 months ago and dr wurster and his nurse sharon really helped me through all the tears and all the bouts of sorrow, i could not ask for a better family doctor.
