Dr. Frederic Todd Harad, MD

I hear he was the best. Well, he may be an excellent surgeon but I will NEVER go to him again. Arrogant and condescending is an understatement. Kept asking me what my expectations were from the visit. Well buddy, I was there to find out if my legs had proper circulation! Getting the answer was why 3 physicians sent me there. Totally unacceptable behavior from a medical professional

Dr. Harad may have a good reputation for his surgery skills, but he has very poor bedside manner. My 75 year old mom and I met him once (and have since switched surgeons). He did not even introduce himself when we met him. He spoke to us in a very harsh and demeaning way asking WHY ARE YOU HERE? The answer from my mom that her cardiologist recommended she see him was not good enough. He kept insisting - WHY ARE YOU HERE? He DID not explain anything in a way that we could understand. We explained to him that we would prefer more of a warm and fuzzy approach - that's what my mom needs - and he came right out and said WELL YOU CAME TO THE WRONG PLACE, THAT IS NOT ME. We do not want to be treated the way he treated us, so we have chosen another surgeon. Very turned off and would never recommend him for a patient looking for someone who needs a warm, inviting doc with a good bedside manner.

..3rd time seeing him..made me seem like I was an idiot? Like I didn't understand my condition. 2nd in charge said you stupid(In a drawing) idiot you don't understand your condition? I'm not a Dr! ..no understanding! .no caring? DONE!..in and out in 5 minutes! ..but! ..staff is polite!

I wouldn't go anywhere else for vascular surgery. Dr Harad is a very busy surgeon, but takes the time when necessary. He is very thorough about what needs to be done. He may not dote on patients like some drs. He is direct and to the point.

Took a test for a bloodclot which was negative. Technition dismissed me without my seeing the doctor. (lunch time). although this was not explained to me. I left several messages, no ONE answered the phone! Dr. Harad called me a week later, with fabricated notes, from which he never examined me nor saw me. Would not recommend this doctor.
