Looking for for a competent surgeon, noted that Dr. Joyce has problems with certain procedures and looking for another CT surgeon without the Ross hade.

Mixed reviews are a big thing in medicine, regardless of the individual or the specialty. A collection that has a majority leaning towards the negative should be evaluated very carefully and may prompt something as serious as cardiac/pulmonary surgery. You want the best with the best numbers. Examples? How many surgeries/month of the type you need. How many surgeries overall. Overall morbidity and mortality. Infection and other postoperative complications. Bottom line is that you need a surgeon who does a lot of the procedure you require, with the best overall outcome

My brother underwent a surgery that was not needed and it left him with kidney failure and a pacemaker as well as many days in ICU. Cardiomyopathy genetic testing was never done or was it treated with medicine as should have been. Many unusual events followed such as a 24 bedside nurse for months in ICU. A no charge for surgery...there were two surgeries because the first one must have nicked a valve because he had internal bleeding and loss of oxygen to his brain. He amazingly he survived but it left him with many health problems after many days in rehab, So read all reviews and take caution as I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

Very irresponsible, incompetent follow up care after surgery caused many life threatening complications. Dishonest, he manipulated patient's records and doctors orders after the fact in order to cover up his negligence. By the grace of God his patient lived but is handicapped for life as a direct result of his malpractice.
