Dr. Frederic Jay Levine, MD

I want to start by saying Dr. Levine is great. He's very nice, communicates well, and is very thorough. My low score stems my situations with his office. My mother stays in a long-term care facility due to post stroke issues. Sitting in a chair for multiple hours is very uncomfortable for her. Dr. Levine's office will NOT do virtual appointments. The last 4 simple followup appointments we have waited for a minimum of 1 hour to 2 hours past her appointment time. Because my mother needs transportation, she needs to be picked up much earlier than her appointment, and then there is another 30+ minute wait to get picked back up after the appointment. I understand doctor 'appointments' dont mean squat anymore but his visits are extremely frustrating. Im fit and healthy and I get uncomfortable and frustrated, I feel so bad for my mother. A simple 2 minute follow-up conversation is a 4-hour ordeal for her and its not fair. Finding a new doctor because of this.

Wife was referred by TriPoint for kidney stone that they said was too large to pass on its own. CatScan sent to Dr. Levine office. After numerous (5+) calls to the office to get an appointment, we were told quit calling, wait for the Dr. to look at Catscan and he will call you, told her to keep taking pain pills. Office staff was rude. 3.5 weeks later, still no call from Dr. Levine. After waiting more than a week for Dr. Levine to call, we were able to find another Dr. without a referral who treated my wife with a good outcome.

i had an appt. on 10/25/17 at 1:30.i am on medicare and clev. clinic ins. this was my second visit.i was told I had a $35 co-pay which I don't.you say its a 25 min. wait which is not true.from 1:30 until 2:20 when they finally took me in the aid asked me how much I weight and the scale was right there.than I was put in a room for the dr. to come and see me,by 3:00 no sign of dr. I left discusted.i have never seen an office in such disarray.by the way I came here on a recomendation

Dr. Levine correctly diagnosed prostate cancer based on elevated PSA level and successfully performed surgery in May 2014. So far so good. Doctor is honest, answer questions directly, appears to be genuinely concerned about my wellbeing.

Very comforting and caring doctor

I tried to make an appt as a new patient I was told Dr. Levine has absolutely no appt's REALLY??????? What Dr. has no appts????
