I have a fairly rare heredity disease than can make anesthesia and surgery very dangerous. This doctor knew about my condition and I was comfortable with his level of knowledge. He kept me safe and even stopped by my room later that evening to check on how I was doing. Thank you!

I had ACL surgery, after injuring my knee playing soccer. Dr. Allen performed a nerve block, and I had minimal pain after the procedure. I'm in physical therapy now and hope to resume soccer once I fully heal.

I have very small veins. Every time I have blood drawn it is a challenge. I leave covered in bruises feeling like a pin cushion. Naturally I was dreading my procedure. But, Dr. Allen numbed me before the IV and got it on the first try. I barely felt it. The preop nurse said he's the best at IVs and I believe it!
