Long time affiliation due to a pediatric heart issue in the family. We have never received anything less than the highest level of expected care and genuine concern. Absolutely top-notch.

My daughter was born with an enlarged side of her heart 13 years ago. Dr.Arensman is Wonderful in Every way ! My daughter loves him & I do too. Couldn't have done without him ! She is doing great,had surgery at 5 and has never slowed down : ). The staff are also just wonderful,caring people. Thank you all !!!!

My 22 year old son was born with an aortic coarctation at birth and had open heart surgery at 18 days old to successfully repair the coarctation at The Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. We moved to Louisville two years later, and Dr. Arensman has managed my son's ongoing cardiolgy case for the last twenty years. Although he did not perform the original surgery, he obtained the surgical notes, scans and other information to help establish a baseline of knowledge of my son's cardiology history. Dr. Arensman has a FANTASTIC bedside manner, and has always taken the time to fully explain the results of diagnostic testing, stress test results, echocardiograms, EKGs, and other tests. He uses pictures and drawings to make sure we fully understand test results, etc. Two years ago, Dr. Arensman detected a troubling increase in our son's blood pressure, and he subsequently determined that the coarctation repair had not grown proportionately with his body - leading to a "crimp" in the… site that was repaired in his heart. This was truly a life-saving discovery. Dr. Arensman discussed all viable alternatives and made recommendations on cardiac cath hospitals and surgeons with the expertice to perform the procedures. Our son subsequently had a success heart cath with a stent placement that totally solved the proble. He continues to see Dr. Arensman for an annual check-up, and will continue to do so as a young adult.

my daughter has been going to dr. arensman since she was a baby for 17 years. everytime I have seen mr. arensman he breaks it down from the beginning so that he can put you into a perspective about what to expect and what s to come he is the most warm and an caring doctor wouldn't have chosen a better cardiologist for my daughter he's the best
