He is a trustworthy and direct doctor. He explains everything. He truly cares about his patients. He is there with you from the beginning to the end. After surgery he checks on you too. The staff is amazing. I would not anyone else do my surgery but him. He is true expert at what he does.

Good doc up to date, currently seems a possible trust to do a cyst removal and hernia removal if not him he may know some one of his high caliber

Seemed like a good doctor although the procedure I wanted was not compatible, however I had surgery three times to fix an infection due to complications from diabetes, they did an excellent job and I would go there again, it's my surgery shop as Alexandria did not do wellss

Dr Broody is a born surgeon. After suffering for more than two decades with hiatal hernia and GERD, this renowned physician gave my life back to me. His expertise in laparoscopic surgery has no rival. I bounced back to health thanks to him. He remains humble, gentle, and courteous to all his patients. I strongly recommend him to any patient who needs surgery.

Dr. Brody is the best, he was recommended to me when I lived in Arkansas and I moved here so he could treat me for my diabetic gastroparesis that I have. He saved my life since I was on my last leg and didn't have many choices or options. I would truly recommend him to anyone who is searching for a doctor that know their job thoroughly. He will sit in the room with you to make sure you understand and will feel comfortable about everything that has been discussed. I have known him for over 10 years now and will continue seeing him. I travels over 3 hours in order to see him for my healthcare. He is truly wonderful and has the best bedside manner. My family adores and respect him faithfully with my life.

I have no doubt he is a great doctor for many problems, as you can tell from the other reviews. However, he is not a sports hernia specialist even though he does treat some sports hernias. He misdiagnosed me and suggested some risky/unnecessary treatments. Luckily my main orthopedic doctor suggested I go see one of the few sports hernia specialists in the nation out of state. I went to NYC and saw a true sports hernia specialist and he cured me. I was properly diagnosed, had the surgery and am cured, pain free after 3 years of suffering from this. Don't see him for a sports hernia.

I couldn't have pick a better doctor to perform my hiatal hernia with full wrap. Dr. Brody spent ample time with my wife and I to answer all our questions prior to surgery and just before surgery in the pre-op room. Two days after the surgery I am taking 1 hour walks and no pain.

I sought Dr. Brody for a rather severe hernia surgery. His expertise was evident from my first visit and his diagnosis through the operation, his bedside manner and the follow-up two weeks after surgery. Every aspect of my interaction with the doctor and GW Hospital went smoothly and was extremely professional. I did not need any pain meds just 2 days after surgery and was back to work in 8 days. While I still need to take it easy and completely heal, my experience was not anything like I imagined. Now I know why my neighbor who is a surgeon at another hospital recommended Dr. Brody to me by saying, "If I needed hernia surgery, I'd go to Brody." I agree 100% and highly recommend Dr. Brody.
