25 years ago Dr Buechel replaced my first knee. It’s still going strong!!!!!!!

I saw many orthopedics and was confused and exhausted. Someone mentioned Dr. Buechel and I was so impressed! He is kind, very intelligent, very informative and in addition to his orthopedic advise, he also gave me superb nutritional advise. He has a very friendly and top-notch staff, especially Donna, who scheduled my surgery. I had a very positive experience from start to finish and my surgery was unbelievably a breeze.

Dr Buechel has a great reputation. I’ve heard his name for years but never needed to see him ... till 2019. I can’t tolerate steroids so I got ozone in my shoulder. Amazing .. pain from 10 to zero. His manager DONNA spoke with me at great lengths and is a true asset . Everyone is pleasant . See this dr , he’s great and treats you with respect z& spends time with you.

I have rheumatoid arthritis so if it was my choice, I'd have cortisone injections weekly BUT can't because of the bad side-effects & damage to tendons, joints, etc. Ozone injections can be given regularly, according to Dr. Buechel who offered me ozone injections. I had such a great experience that I made sure I asked the name of every person who helped me. His manager Donna explained in great detail about ozone, sent me info in the mail & was so patient answering questions. That scored high on my list as so many offices just make the appointment and that's it. So... I decided to give it a try, I signed consent forms as this isn't covered by insurance. I also looked up fees from others who offer this & Dr. Buechel's fee was very reasonable plus his credentials are excellent ! So far, I've had injections in my feet, knee and fingers. It's a different type of injection and actually interesting & the dr explains every move. had NO pain afterwards - NONE !!! He explained… sometimes you need more than 1 but that's ok because I don't want cortisone which has caused my sugar to spike and someone i know got an infection from it. According to Dr. Buechel, this ozone injection sterilizes the area so there is NO risk of infection. Insurance companies will prob cover this in the near future but I can't wait that long. AND - his staff is very pleasant which is a joy in itself from the pleasant receptionist, the medical asst, the person who took payment & to the lovely manager. You may have to wait a bit, but this was well worth it. !!

I am very impressed with the quality of care I received from Dr. Buechel. His staff is friendly and very efficient. I was referred to this office by my family dr and cardiologist and friends. So finally made my appointment and wish I had made it sooner. I don't respond well to steroids, so the good doctor injected my knee with Ozone and explained that oxygen will sterilize the area and I wouldn't have the inflammation from steroids. He was right. My pain level was a 10 before the injection, then when I left it was down to 0. Amazing !

I saw Dr. Buechel for a foot problem, then a hip problem, as well. He is very kind, spends time explaining things and considering how nervous I was to see him, it was a great experience. I didn't need surgery, followed his instructions and had an Ozone injection rather than cortisone in my foot. I react very poorly to cortisone, so this was a great alternative. I ended up having another Ozone injection and that did the trick for me. I also researched about Ozone injections and many times you do need more than one. Considering his experience, I thought his fee was considerably very reasonable. It is self pay and I had to sign a consent because insurance won't cover it. But - to me it was worth it not to have cortisone injected into my body. Staff is very pleasant as well.

I was looking for a shoulder replacement doctor, not that I wanted surgery. I went to Hackensack Medical Center, the Hospital for Special Surgery and then kept hearing the name of Fred Buechel. I called and was immediately transferred to speak with the manager. She was very friendly and patient answering all my concerns. I made the appointment, booked my surgery and this same woman handled all the details to a "T". My outcome was nothing less than PERFECT. Dr. Buechel is by far the very best, outstanding very skilled surgeon

Dr. Buechel did a total right shoulder replacement on me approximately 30 yeas ago when no one even knew shoulder replacements were possible. The results were exactly as he predicted and lasted for 16 years until a bearing needed to be replaced as expected through normal wear & tear. Second surgery successful and have had full use of my shoulder since initial surgery. Dr. Buechel is one of the best orthopaedic surgeons and is recognized throughout the world as a leading surgeon and creator of new & innovative techniques. Discussed your options in an easy to understand manner and gives you as much time as needed to feel comfortable. Highly recommend !

Dr. Buechel has been my orthopaedic doctor and surgeon for over 10 years. I trust him implicitly. He is very knowledgeable and now he is giving me Ozone Oxygen injections in my knee which is nothing short of amazing! I looked it up online before making my appointment and these injections have no risks - before I couldn't get my steriod injection too regularly because they cause all sorts of havoc to the joint if done regularly. I am so glad that Dr. Buechel is innovative and not only a skilled surgeon but a really nice doctor. I absolutely LOVE his right hand gal - Donna. She's been with him for as long as I've been coming there. There is also Carmella who greets me at the window and she's been there a long time, too. It is so nice to see familiar faces and get A+++ care. I highly recommend.

I don't know where to begin. WONDERFUL office- let's start there. How unusual to call a doctor's office & have someone actually try to guide you, answer questions for a "Potential patient". I had questions about a resurfacing shoulder replacement which I read about and Dr. Buechel's name kept coming up. The staff re-routed my call to the manager - I was surprised she even took the time to speak with me but she was VERY knowledgeable & after speaking with her I booked my consultation. What a NICE DOCTOR !!! OMG ! He gave me a lesson on nutrition since I'm about 60 lbs overweight & it was very nice of him to try to help me because I've tried everything. He addressed ALL my concerns, questions, reviewed my xrays and I was just so impressed with his demeanor, knowledge and CREDENTIALS are off the dial. His name was NOT pronounced the way I thought which I was embarrassed but he was really cool about it. I met the manager and she scheduled my procedure. Everything was so organized, she… always took my calls & even called me from her cell on her way home once. I must have called her a million times because I was nervous - this woman is seriously an asset. Everyone is so nice and so busy. This IS the office to go to. I also met Dr. Helbig who handled my post operative care and he was great, as well and I liked his sense of humor.
