Dr. Frederick H Ernst

II was assaulted and my jaw was broken in 2 spots. I went to the local clinic in West Virginia where Dr. Ernst was volunteering his time as an Oral Surgeon. He operated on my jaw and fixed it. He was very compassionate and kind. He made everything seem simple. I want to thank him very very much for being ther for me.

I had two implants placed in my left upper jaw by a Periodontist. One fell out the first night when I was eating dinner. It left a huge hole into my sinus. When I drank water it came out of my nose! The Periodontist tried to close the hole 3 times. After the third time he sent me to an Oral Surgeon who tried another three times. None worked. Every time the hole just got bigger. The Oral Surgeon sent me to another Oral Surgeon, Dr. Ernst. Dr. Ernst used a procedure that cancer surgeons use. He had to cut my palate in half and used it to cover the hole. Dr. Ernst explained everything to me. He gave me anesthesia for the 2 hour procedure. I didn't remember anything. He examined me every other day for 6 weeks. He watched over me until I was completely healed. He is and his staff are all extremely compassionate and caring. I am very thankful for him for fixing me and highly recommend him.

I had an abcess. Called in the AM. Got an appointment at 3PM. Everything taken care of to my complete satisfaction. No pain. Got a prescription for pain pills, but didn't need them.

Dr. Ernst performed 2 surgeries on me and I had no problems. The doctor and his staff are professional and caring. They kept asking me if I was ok during the procedure, and they explained each step as they were proceeding. I definitely would recommend Dr. Ernst.
