Dr. Frederick Augustus Godley III, MD

In all honestly if what he diagnosed was correct I honestly thought he would be GODley, but despite my repeatedly telling him I have had an issue with my Sodium (Na) being very low and I asking if the med he was prescribing could lower it, he told me it would not be a problem and to follow up in a month to see if there was an improvement in my symptoms, on my regular Na check 4 days after the start it dropped to critical again, but I wanted to give it a week to see if it would rebound while still on the med. It did not so I had to stop it. I repeatedly called his office to see what my other options would be and once the nurse returned my called and said she would get back to me the following Monday. After calling the office 3 times (hold time average is 20 min to speak to someone for 30 sec, then transferred to the nurse's extension only to get voicemail, which is never returned. Finally 24 hours before my follow up was due the office called to confirm my appointment. I informed… them in no uncertain terms they would never see me again. I honestly wish I could file a complaint with blue cross so they don't pay him. I wasted $45 for a co-pay that and now will have to see another doc.

Wish more doctors where like him

Dr godley had done a rhinoplasty on me, I soecifically asked for my columella to be shortened... That was my only request. I had a septoplasy done during the surgery (to fix my deviated septum), which was completely covered by my insurance. The only other thing that was supposed to be done, other than the septoplasy, was rhinoplasty- to fix my hanging columella. The septoplasy was free due to my insurance, the anistisia fee was $1,000, and the rhinoplasty was $3,000. Not only did I spend a bunch of money on this surgery, but my columella was not even touched. It's been 2 full years so far, and my columella is not only still hanging, but hanging even lower now due to where he had to go into my nose. The scar tissue thickened, and what I payed thousands of dollars to get fixed, is worse than it was in the first place. I had called him several times, only leaving my name and number, messages about once a week, and he called back once... From a blocked number... It took me weeks after… that to finally get in touch with him again. And once I did, he did not have a care in the world about how he screwed up. He pretty much told me that I'm going to have to spend more money for an ever riskier procedure (revision rhinoplasty)... And refitted me to a different surgeon. 2 years and $4,000 later, and nothing has changed. Very upsetting. I've been self conscious about my nose my whole life, and just when I saved enough money to fix it, I got completely scammed. I do not recommend dr. Godley to anybody. Try not to make the mistake I did.

He was a good doctor a while ago, but now ,he doesn't even do a complete check up ,just give you medicine and come back in four months, very unhappy with him

Dr. Godley was very pleasant and thorough. He answered all my questions and provided extra information on my diagnosis and surgery.

He cancelled less than 8 days before a surgery that was confirmed for over 2.5 months because of vacation. Then, he didn't fill out the paperwork, and it took 3 phone calls to get an answer from the correct person. Please visit this doctor if you find it hilarious that the fact if you cancel 2 weeks ahead of time you get charged 250 dollars, but yet it's ok for him to cancel on you with no problems.. The follow-up question is HILARIOUS.. He's on vacation and ignored our scheduled appointment that he set over 2.5 months ago.

I am a new patient of Dr. Godley's..I find him to be caring, considerate and extremely aware of patient's concerns..he spends quality time with his patients, I never felt rushed, he is thorough in his diagnosis and recommendations. I am grateful to have found him and completely trust him.

Nice guy. Listens and takes time with me.
