Dr. Frederick Elliot Kahn, MD

The most irresponsible incompetent and negligent group of con artists. My mental health is far worse than before i started going to them. They only do telehealth consults for less than 5 minutes and charge you an arm and a leg. I was begging Dr Kahn and his PA and the MD that i really need help but they hung up on me. They really dont have time for their patients. The only reason i was seeing them for 4 years because i needed my medications and i have very limited insurance and this is the only provider in my network in this area. I cannot pay out of pocket i am already struggljng in these hard times. But today i just had it they cannot even call a basic script to your pharmacy without making 10 mistakes. It could be really dangerous to call in wrong psychiatric meds for mentally challenged patients but they really dont care. It is really not worth my time and sanity to go back to them. And I sincerely warn all the patients out there please dont go near them. It is a fraudulent… business and should be closed.

Watch out. This place is a real con. They rip off your insurance company by using a PA, instead of an actual Psychiatrist, and provide horrible service. Stay far away.

Dr Khan is great. He not only helped me manage my addiction and stay clean going on 2 years but he has helped with some of my health issues that it has taken me months to figure out what he does in a single visit. I am grateful I Found him and would tell anyone looking for a Dr who cares about his patients to go to Forest Recovery. The staff is great as well so It doesn’t matter who You get they are all a part of Dr Khans team

Go to any other place for counseling treatment, wouldn’t recommend this place other than medication management. Many wonderful private practices in Bergen county, no need to waste time with a place that is 20 years behind

I've been with Dr Kahn for years , he SAVED me from dealing with a Dr who was essentially keeping me on meds I didn't need , he is super easy to talk to and makes himself available when I need him....I'm shocked by the bad reviews !
