Dr. Frederick Arthur Merrill III, MD

1st visit last week with lab work - listened to my history, verified medications and discussed options. Easy to understand and to talk to. After labs were returned, they quickly called to discuss the results. A slight wait in the exam room but worth it for the thorough exam time.

I have been seeing Dr. Merrill for a few years and am very happy to have found him. He is very professional, kind and truly showed cared for my health and well being.

I moved here from NJ almost a year ago and am so happy I found Dr Merrill..He always listens to what you are saying and is very knowledgeable..

Dr. Merrill listens to all issues and symptoms before suggesting solutions. He explains his diagnosis fully, and follows up at future visits to ensure your problem is resolved. Wait time at my most recent visit was under 30 minutes for a same-day appointment.

Many years ago I was treated by Dr. Merrill in a Prompt Care with a serious infection. His concern was sincere and he actually called me later in the day to make sure I was feeling better. He's very knowledgeable and compassionate. My only complaint now is that I have to wait too long to be seen, especially since I'm often his first patient of the day.

Fred Merrill has been my doctor for just over two decades. I have never had any problems with him. He has always asked genuine questions concerning my visits and remembers my medical history. He is friendly and also direct to the point without coming off as rude. As for the people in the office I have not had any issues with them either as they have always been welcoming and respectful towards me.

I have seen Dr Merrill for over three years. I am so glade that I chose him as my physician. He is very thorough, takes time to go over my health concerns. I do very comfortable with his advice and recommendation. I do recommend Dr. Merrill to friends and family members. Emtanis Shoukry

I have seen Dr. Merrill for over 20 years and I am so comforted in the fact that he takes time to listen, truly cares about my health, and goes beyond to make sure I am receiving the best care possible.

My husband and I were new to the area and visited 3 Dr. Merrill 3 times. Each time we waited well over an hour. The third time was the last straw. After 1.5 hours of waiting, we left. When we did see him the other two times, he listened and talked a lot about life and politics. Tried repeatedly to get a referral for OT and PT as a follow-up to a serious health condition. After many phone calls, no referral was ever made. Disgusted, we left and would not recommend this practice.

Although the staff is rude and you have to wait a long period of time before you are even escorted into a room, I stuck with Dr. Merrill. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I had to be admitted into the hospital due to a very serious lung infection for over a week.The hospital tried to set up a very important follow-up appointment for me to be seen by Dr. Merrill and other physicians before leaving the hospital. He could not see me until over a month later. I had to be seen by a Dr. recommended by the hospital because it was just that serious. Wow! What a slap in the face. I definitely would not recommend him to anyone.
