Dr. Michel holds a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts with a Zoology major from Syracuse University. He earned his dental degree from Fairleigh Dickenson School of Dental Medicine. His hospital internship was at Medical Center Hospital of Vermont in 1972-73. Since his practice was established he has taken many courses in continuing education, particularly in root canal, geriatric dentistry and bonding.
Dr. Michel received an award for excellence in Pediatric Dentistry. One of his proudest professional accomplishments is the fluoridation of the water supply in Poutney. This program has been in effect for almost 30 years.
Outside the office Dr. Michel is active in the community and a long time Rotarian. He annually participates in many of the club functions. His favorite is Green-up Day.
