Dr. Frederick Richard Stack, MD

I was a patient of Dr. Stack at his Casa Grande office for many years, until he moved. He is a very knowledgeable doctor, his attitude sometimes might not be the best (usually because he is very honest about the health problems that the patient presents when we don't follow his instructions), I still tell my family stories about him (Dr. stack used to say this...…lol), but he gets 5 stars from me because he is an excellent doctor, I didn't go to his clinic to be friends. When he moved, it took me a while to find another doctor, it was hard, I still miss him, he is unique in his own personal way.

He currently is a "hospitalist" at Yavapai RegionalMedical Center in Prescott, Az. Really has an attitude. Thinks he is next to God. My husband dreaded seeing him. Dont think he likes his job that is for sure! Wonder why he moved?

I truly like Dr. Stack he is very good doctor. Since the inception of Affordable Care Act, his main concern has shifted from patient income to his personal income. I have seen a down grade from a nice office and environment to area that I would not condone to a doctors office. Through this I have stuck with him as patient because his knowledge as a physician. Today was the final straw. I have the same problem as I had 5 months ago. I need him to refer me again to the physical therapist as previously done. The office "witch" or "hannibal" who has made numerous mistakes with my insurance billing that I have spend many hours correcting her mistakes. She has no concept of changes in insurance companies. This has cost us many dollars out of our pocket that should have covered by our insurance. Today she would not let me speak with the doctor or have him return a call. She is the reason my wife no longer is seeing Dr. Stack. All she wanted was to make an appointment for the… script to see the physical therapist, all she wants is those co-pays for office visits. She asked me three times if I had insurance, she should haven't known this as I had been a patient for over 4 years. Dr. Stack, I will miss you and your care. I will not miss your rude arrogant receptionist.

I find his office staff in Casa Grande rude, very short with patients, and uncaring about her job. That is the main reason for changing my doctor. Dr. Stack is kind and concerning as long as you are in the office and I don't feel he is proactive in his exams. But he does listen to your concerns.

Would NOT recommend this Doctor to anyone. He is rude and arrogant and the worst bedside manner ever. Just a pill pusher for the drug companies. And the office and exam rooms are dirty. Not even a sink in exam rooms and he doesn't wash his hands before examining patients or between patients. Worst medical tech works there. Do not let her draw blood. You will regret it.
