THIS REVIEW BY ANY MEANS IS TOWARD THE DR HIMSELF. I NEVER GIVEN THE PLEASURE TO MEET HIM. I WAS SCHEDULED AN APPT BY BREE WHICH TOOK ME 4-5 DAYS AND A COUPLE PHON CALLS TO BE SCHEDULED FOR. ONLY TO ARRIVE AT THE APPT TO BE TOLD THAT I DIDNT HAVE AN APPT SCHEDULED & THAT THE DR WAS FINISHED WITH PT'S FOR THE MORNING AND WOULD RESUME PT'S IN THE AFTERNOON. I ASKED IF I COULD BE SEEN THEN AND THAT I DIDNT MIND HAVING TO WAIT. WELL HE WAS BOOKED & I COULDNT BE SEEN. I ASKED FOR AN OFFICE MANAGER AND WAS TOLD ONE WASNT AVAILABLE. BUT MOMENTS LATER, THE "SO CALLED OFFICE MANAGER" COME TO THE PHONE EVERYTHING IS EXPLAINED TO HER & AGAIN NOTHING HAPPENED. I HAPPEN TO RUN A MEDICAL OFFICE AND NEVER WOULD I EVER TREAT A "NEW PATIENT" THIS WAY. NO PT AT ALL. I HAVE NEVER BEEN TREATED SO POORLY IN MY LIFE. I RUN A MEIDCAL OFFICE AND I KNOW THAT SOME STAFF MAKE MISTAKES, BUT I WOULD NEVER MAKE THE PT FEEL AS THOUGH IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE. I READ THE REVIEWS PRIOR TO SCHEDULING THIS APPT BUT STILL… WAS WILLING TO 'SEE FOR MYSELF' & I PERFER LEARNING PEOPLE AND THINGS FOR MYSELF AND THAT EVERYONE DESERVES THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. I WOULD HAVE FELT A WHOLE LOT BETTER HAD THEY LIED AND TOLD ME MY APPT WAS AT A EARLIER TIME AND THEY HAD TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE ME. AGAIN THIS REVIEW IS NOT DIRECTED TOWARD THE DR HIMSELF. BUT HIS STAFF (BREE NEEDS TO TAKE MORE RESPONSIBLE FOR HER MISTAKES & THE SO CALLED OFFICE MANAGER... THANKS FOR MAKING A PATIENT FEEL LIKE THEY ARE WHATS IMPORTANT)

I have been a patient of Dr. Tackey for several years and I believe my health is so good because of him. You never have to sit and wait in his office and he comes into the room within a few minutes. The girls on his staff, Bree and Rhonda are top notch professionals. They make you feel like family, while being so good at what they do. I hope new patients read my review and select Dr. Tackey for their health needs. Thank you. Judy Hancock

The quality of care Dr. Tackey provided was far less than I expect. In my estimation Mr. Tackey should find another profession. I have to wonder how many patients he's hurt during his carrier

I went to see Dr Tackey, I have had as many as 12 blood tests or withdrawals X-rays and CT scans while at Del Rey Hospital. He does not disseminate information in its entireity. Do not recommend you EVER Go see this DR. I CHOSE A 5 STAR Dr. Went to him and ONE blood test AND A WEEK LATER showed I had a high possibility of lung cancer with nodules on my lung. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME !

This doctor has been treating my father for over 3 months and just keeps prescribing antibiotics. Apparently antibiotics is not what he needs. we advised our father to go get a second opinion and the doctor promptly became rude and cancelled all future tests and appointments. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! apparently he doesn't know what he is doing and doesn't care about the health of his patients, only his ego. I would stay away if you are wanting a doctor who knows what they are doing and cares about your treatment.

Dr. Tackey really listened to me concerning a wrong diagnosis, and I was directed to the right test and correct diagnosis

I was impressed with this doctor. After firing another pulmonary doctor, my allergist recommend Dr. Tackey. He was able to sort out a diagnosis for me that made sense to me. I live in Florida part of the year and will be out of the area for about 3 months. He said if I need anything to give them a call while I am out of state. Lately you are lucky to get 5 minutes with your doctor. Dr. Tackey spent at least 30 minutes, taking history and examining. I felt a good rapport. Doc patient rapport is so lacking in medicine today and it is so very important.

The Doctor was great. Staff seemed very non-friendly and if you do not speak English fluently you feel discriminated against and also if you need any scans or test done and need approval from your insurance provider do it your self the staff is no help at all . States it takes two weeks call my insurance got approval and a confirmation number to schedule the appointments on my own.
