After medical school, Dr. El Rassi moved to the Pacific Northwest to complete residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Oregon Health and Science University in Portland, OR. Upon completing residency, Dr. El Rassi again moved across the country to New England in order to pursue fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the prestigious Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA where he also served as a Clinical Instructor at Harvard Medical School.
Following fellowship, Dr. El Rassi returned to his home-state of Oklahoma to establish his practice at OU Physicians. Dr. El Rassi’s practice focuses on treating patients with conditions of the nose, sinuses, orbit, and skull base including patients with allergies, nasal obstruction, recurrent or chronic sinusitis, nasal polyposis, epiphora (chronic tearing), thyroid eye disease, sinonasal tumors (both benign and malignant), and cerebrospinal fluid rhinorrhea. …He brings expertise in endoscopic (minimally invasive) revision and complex sinus surgery, orbital surgery, and skull base surgery.
