Dr. Fucong 'Tim' Tian grew up in northern China and received his dental degree from Peking University's School of Dentistry in 2004. He completed a combined program of endodontic specialty training and clinical research, earning his PhD and endodontic certificate in 2009. He served as an endodontist and faculty member at Peking University for nine years. In 2018, Dr. Tian moved to Augusta, GA, where he completed a two-year endodontic residency and served as an assistant professor and pre-doctoral director in endodontics at the Dental College of Georgia. During his academic career, he published nearly fifty articles, cited over 1000 times, and is a board-certified endodontist by the American Board of Endodontics. Dr. Tian joined Virginia Family Dentistry in 2023.
