I just moved into the area and needed to continue my treatment of severe anxiety and depression issues which I have been in treatment for for over 10 years. In my experience I have never met someone who belittled me, showed so little respect, and showed so little compassion in just 45 mins. I was asked lots of very personal questions in a manner of just him reading off a checklist, no sensitivity, and he always interrupted me after me only getting 2 or 3 words out. He also refused to look at my medical records or pick up on my treatment, which was working well, where my last psychiatrist of 3 years left off. But apparently 45 mins of interrupting a patient trying to explain the history of an illness outside of a standard online depression test is not his thing. He also tried putting me on the highest dose of a med without weaning me into it, that made me feel very uneasy and I had to talk him into writing a lower dose and working my way up. If you want safe and quality services and… just to be treated like a human instead of a number see someone else. It is clear he hates his job and lost compassion for his patients years ago.
