Dr. Ga Geong Lee, MD

terrible experience, I regret using her as a doctor. it resulted in risk to my husband's life from her incompetence, plus some traumatic toxic reactions with her. never again.

She was very negligent in dealing with or ordering follow-up testing when my husband had very abnormal labs for over a year following a persistent pattern that was worrisome given his health history. She acted like the tests were not that worrisome and it was probably just a side effect of his supplements (that were prescribed by his doctor before her). It took him getting denied on a *life insurance application* for us to realize that the abnormal lab tests were really concerning and could indicate a life-threatening condition. We got advice from many doctor friends and any doctors who would help us to figure out what the labs and symptoms likely meant and what he should do for further testing. Even after my husband came back to Sunny Health with this information, the doctor was not open to hearing it and kept saying there was no way he could have the condition that these doctors and we were suspecting, even though he had many symptoms and had not had any testing yet that was… capable of ruling it out. She was extremely rude and kept giving us different excuses and not following through properly with things she had said she would do and then blaming us for it. It was shocking how unprofessional she was. She did not keep us updated or respect our concerns or handle the matter professionally. When my husband requested his medical records she resisted and delayed (he has a right to them). She kept changing her story about why she couldn't do things and it didn't match with what others involved were telling us, I'm not sure if she was just disorganized or if she was lying. It was so far from what she should have done in terms of being there for my husband in this difficult situation and made everything worse for us as we were coming to terms with the news about his health. After all of this, I looked to check on her medical education, and she went to an unaccredited medical school in the Bahamas. I don't think she has the level of expertise that you would commonly expect from a doctor in the US. We were pretty shocked at her level of ignorance about my husband's suspected condition. All she really discussed in his medical records about the abnormal labs was the theory they were a side effect of supplements or medication, when there are many life-threatening conditions that can cause this pattern of dysfunction on labs. She showed a lot of ignorance about what tests needed to be run to check on the condition (we had to suggest the tests to her, from the other doctors' advice). We basically had to get other people in our network and on reddit to fill in for the doctoring she was doing so poorly. It's dangerous to see an unqualified doctor, because you feel like you're getting "medical advice" and a doctor's opinion, but if the doctor is not informed or educated, you're really not. She lulled me and my husband into complacency about the persistently abnormal labs at great risk to his life and long-term health. It's just lucky that life insurance underwriter stepped in and alerted my husband to the danger. If not for that, my husband likely would have ended up in the hospital with a high risk of death. I'm sharing this in case the head's up helps to save someone else's life or health. She might be ok if you just need minor cosmetic procedures, but I would not trust my life to this healthcare practice (which is what you're doing when you choose someone for a PCP and are counting on them to alert you and be there for you if you come down with anything serious).

She’s been our doctor for our entire family, relatives, friends for last 3 years. She’s consistently excellent. I’m not easy to please and I don’t settle for mediocre. She’s moved her practice to start a new practice. I will let letting everyone know that she’s moved from healthcare partners. She’s prompt and not only knowledgeable in her expertise, enjoys spending time with patients. She’s genuinely interested in her patients which is rare to find in Las Vegas. She’s Gonna be our doctor as long as we can find her.

Our friend went to Dr. Lee after moving here from out of state. He found her to be exceptionally caring, and knowledgeable. Because of change in insurance, he had to find another doctor, and has been terribly disappointed with the level of care he has received (2 different doctors). He ran into her a couple of months ago, and she told him she would be changing locations, but it wasn't firm at that time. He would very much like to know where she is practicing now.

We have a friend who went to Dr. Lee until he had to change insurance. Does anyone know where she has relocated to?

She treats me and my husband, who has type two Diabetes. She is exceptional

My husband has "White coat syndrome" He doesn't just hate going to the doctor it causes him to feel faint, flushed, sweat, BP elevate.. Dr. Lee has such a demeanor, so patient and calm that he no longer feels threat with an appointment. He has normal BP in the office and is interactive with her as well ( not the case with previous providers). Because of this I too have made the change to become a patient . She's a great Primary care doctor. I recommend that you take the time to get to know her and she will take exceptional care of you. **Side note she has no control of the clinic ant the front office staff at HCP overall , that is a different experience completely and issues there should be lamed on management training and not the Doctors.

Had a physical and she did not touch me. Didn't look in my eyes, ears, listen to my chest, and didn't check my reflexes. I had a cold so I had to ask her to look into my ears and throat. Doesn't listen to you. My husband went to see her too and had the same experience. Will not be going back to her. Horrible Dr.

Very good listener . and tries to help you with your medical problems instead of just prescribing pills , and sending on your way.
