Dr. Gabriel J Barciela Perez

Dr. Gabriel Jose Barciela Perez had a bad diagnosis for a patient that ended badly for the patient and family. On the death certificate, he put the cause of death to cover up his mistakes, but the autopsy showed what he was trying to cover up, in my opinion. I would not recommend him to anybody, and if you do go to him, always get a second opinion.

I have an opportunity to meet Dr Barciela at a rehab where my mother was a short-term resident. Due to the subpar care at that location, my mother developed respiratory issues, possibly an infection or ammonia. He prescribed antibiotics and recommended that she did not require hospitalization, and she passed away 28 hours later following his alleged misdiagnosis. He assured me in person that my mother would be fine. I regret taking his advice.

He's one the best Dr I have the privilege to work with, professional, knowledgeable and highly skilled.
