Dr. Gabriel Loor, MD

Dr. Loor gave me my life back. I thank God for finding him. I had a congenital valve defect that no surgeon in my area would attempt to repair. Prior to surgery, Dr. Loor explained all my options thoroughly. He made sure I understood the risks involved and probable outcomes. My surgery went very well. Afterward, I had minimal pain and no complications. Dr. Loor made me feel like a family member. My surgery was 6 weeks ago and I feel great. Now, I walk every day. I still have a hard time believing that I am fast walking three miles a day. Friends and family comment on how much healthier I look after surgery. I cannot thank Dr. Loor enough. I recommend Dr. Loor without reservation.

Dr. Loor performed emergency ascending aortic dissection surgery on me at the U of M Fairview. I can't say enough about him, both as a surgeon and a human being. He's a treasure. I'm alive because of his gifts. I understand he's also a very accomplished guitar player. Maybe there's a correlation there!
