Dr. Gabriel Lupu Stanescu, MD

Dr. Stanescu gave me a perfunctory physical exam and prescribed a medication. In the so called "follow up" exam he never even asked about the medicine. He seemed to barely remember me. He also gave me a D.R.E. that seemed a little bit overzealous. When he finished he said he was going to "clean me up". As my back was turned to him he said, "DON'T TURN AROUND!" in a voice so loud and strained it felt like a command. He then proceeded to wipe me himself. It felt perverse and disturbing. I called Human Resources. They deflected my calls, all the while insisting that my account of this visit was very important to them. I would not go near this office.

there are So many better doctors than this QUACK. his office staff is worse than the doctor himself. Poor follow up if ANY at all. you can indeed do much better than this guy as a doctor

Dr. Stanescu is good at taking blood pressure and listening to your heart. If those two things are fine, then he's done and does not delve into what else may be causing your symptoms. He does not review the medications you're on- just adds more medication, sometimes adding a second medication of the same kind which had negative consequences to my health (I found this out by changing physicians and getting my symptoms resolved by having my new doctor removing some of the medications that Dr. Stanescu prescribed).

Accurate diagnosis also gives good practical advice. Doesn't complicate things
