Dr. Gabriela Maria Ortiz-Omphroy, MD

She was very good. She explained thing well and did not make me feel rushed during my visit.

Highly unprofessional, and irresponsive, with terrible customer service. Would NOT recommend. Had an online visit, via HMSA online care app, due to covid symptoms. Dr did not show her face on screen saying she had a new computer and “couldn’t figure it out”. Said she’d email me with test results and dr. Note. At the testing center, they said Dr. should post results to Mycharts app. She never emailed dr. Note, or results, or posted results to MyChart. When I emailed asking results she said she sent already, when I double checked I saw all she sent was visit notes. I emailed again multiple times with no response. I cannot return to work without a negative test result, and Dr. note, nor should I for the safety of my clients and coworkers. Then when I called her office the receptionist was extremely rude when I explained I had called multiple times with no answer, so I had to leave a voice mail on doctor cell phone with fax number for Dr. note, and had she received it? She… responded “yeah well I was busy I couldn’t answer the phone”. I said “is it necessary to talk to me like that?” She said “I’m just telling you why I couldn’t answer the phone!” I was not rude for explaining I had to call multiple times and there was no reason to respond that way.

Dr. Gabbi is very professional and I would recommend her to anyone. She will spend time with you answer your questions and concerns. So if you are reading this review, I would say she is one of the best doctors on the island.

Excelent Doctor. It is obious that Dr.Omphroy truly cares about the health of her patients. She goes above and beyond her duties adding a human touch to the care of every patien. strongly reccomend Dr. Gabriela Ortiz-Omphroy for your medical needs...
