Dr. Gabriella Bonomo, MD

I have been seeing Dr Bonomo for a year and a half and have found her to be professional, caring, easy handling referrals and wants to help me get healthier. I recommend her and her staff.

People that give bad reviews do not really know Dr Bonomo or her office. They have never turned me away....I didn't have an appt and suffering with depression and they hug me and had me in the office right away. My husband was dying with lung cancer, and doctor Bonomo was the only one he trusted. He would not go to any other doctor. He was a very strong man and she treated him with kindness and caring in his last year. Without her I never would have gotten through his last year. She was honest with him and very caring. The people that wrote the bad reviews don't know a good doctor when they see one. I trust her and would not go to anyone else

This is the most negligent office ever!! The nurse practitioner, Katie Hnis, is an obnoxious know nothing. She has no idea what she is doing and when you try to call her she NEVER calls back! Even though she acts like she cares when you leave by saying,” give me a call if you have any problems. I’m done with this office!

Horrible!! I have always liked Dr. Bonomo, but her staff has always been the absolute worst! In trying to schedule a post hospital and ER appointment, I was told I was now considered a new patient (after 6+ years), because I was 3 months past my annual exam being due. I was dealing with an illness and emergencies during that time, which required other doctors/specialists, so obviously, I couldn’t make that annual appointment right on time. Upon trying to schedule with Dr. Bonomo, I was told as now a “new patient”, I would not be scheduled for 4 MONTHS!!, and that I was “lucky” she’d even see me at all! Three MONTHS!!! Even when I explained why I was late, the person on the phone was just silent, clearly was not going to alter her stance or office “policy”. I don’t know if Dr. Bonomo is truly aware of how repulsive her front staff is, or if they are carrying out HER directives, but either way, this was the last straw. I’d rather wait a month for a new doctor as an ACTUAL new… patient, as opposed to 4 months to see my own doctor who clearly is uninterested an not committed to her patients! What ever happened to caring, decent doctors?!

Very disappointed in her response, both outpatient and inpatient. She was highly recommended form several Doctors, but my experience with her has been the worse. Everytime I have seen her I have felt she was not actively listening. Very quick in assessments. Does not consult with other doctors on my team and disregarded their recommendations, even though they have known me Longer. Currently looking for a new doctor.

She may be a good dr. but has no bedside manner. Very dry, serious, matter of fact demeanor. Makes you feel uncomfortable. Not warm and fuzzy at all. Was quick to get in and out of the hospital visits. Too business like. Never saw her smile.

Horrible, rude, nasty office staff and Doctor. They do not care about their patients and hung up on me three separate times and laughed at me for suggestion urgency of needed appointment. Beware of this disgusting practice!

I was looking for a new primary doctor so I called to make an appointment. I was told to hold and I was on hold for almost 6 minutes before someone came back on the phone. Instead of saying "thank you for holding" or "I am so sorry that you had to hold for so long" she said "can I help you in a very disgusted voice and a long sigh. I felt like I was bothering her. I tried to make an appointment anyway and she said she would call me back the next day. Needless to say I never received a call. I was recommended to Dr. Bonomo by my oncologist. This was a terrible first impression and I found another doctor whose office staff was so warm and understanding. I hope this person does not treat other patients and new clients like this. So sad.

She is the only doctor that has truly earned my continued loyalty & admiration. Years ago, she visited me in the hospital and was able to correctly diagnose my problem (after a dozen ER doctors missed the target). When she was no longer covered by my insurance plan, her office compassionately worked with me so that I could continue my treatment.

Excellent caring, compassionate doctor, who listens. As a diagnostician, she is superb. Her office staff is second to none - friendly, respectful & extremely efficient.
