Dr. Gabriella Ribarne Pasztor, MD

I had an 11:30 appointment with Dr. Pasztor today. I made the apt around so it could be during my lunch. I arrived at 11:20. By 12:20 I still had not been seen. It wasn't simply a matter of my being on an hour lunch. It wouldn't have been a huge issues if I were already being seen by her and we'd gone over a bit. But the fact that an hour later and I hadn't even been seen? It's one thing to want to spend time with the patient you're currently seeing. But what about respecting the patients who are waiting? Who may have driven across town to see you? Who have other obligations other than waiting over an hour for you to show up for them? It's unacceptable. She needs to set time limits and adhere to them. I could wait no longer so I ended up leaving without being seen. And I had to pay $7 to park...for nothing. I will not be back.

Worth waiting for her at at Sugarland office

Dr. Pasztor is a great psychiatrist. I have been seeing her for over 1 year and it took awhile to get used to her accent (Hungarian) but she is an absolute sweetheart who cares for her patients. I had been seeing her for 3 months and her husband/office Mgr passed away which really took a toll on her emotionally. Unfortunately she stopped seeing new patients at her Sugar Land office because her she couldn't manage a practice and see patients without help. As far as I know she sees no new patients currently but I was luck to have her as my doctor before she quit practicing in Sugar Land so she still sees me at different private mental health facilities that she works for. If someone ever needs a psychiatrist maybe she will one day see new patients because she is great.

Dr. Pasztor is a sweetheart but not the best organized but not her fault. The poor lady just lost her husband who helped her schedule and organize. Her husband was healthy one day and passed in less than 2 weeks. I was lucky to establish a patient relationship before she stopped seeing new patients. Once you start understanding her accent and talk to her she is great and will prescribe whatever medicines you and her think will help. Dr. Pasztor was working with her husband in Sugar Land before he passed now working for an outpatient mental health facility but I go see her there.
