Dr. Gabrielle Marie Sousa, MD

Absolutely disheartening! Due to insurance change we had to switch practices. My daughter was seen by Dr Sousa for her 14 yr physical. Her 1st question was “are you new here?” Clearly, she hadn’t bothered to review her records. She didn’t ask one question about her medical history. I left the room when she was doing her exam, less than 5 minutes later, out comes my daughter saying she was all set. She didn’t even bother to tell me that everything was fine, no issues, issues.... nothing. I am an RN in the Partners system, embarrassed that she is part of PHC. And, major HIPPA violations in this office. I’ve been there 3 times and each time the front desk people were talking about patients including full names, diagnoses, tests needed, insurance issues. Absolutely appalling!

She didn't listen to one word I had to say she completely stereotyped me before I even walked in the door! Went in there for serve back pain had xrays done night before showed something wrong her cure was to ignore me and then make me leave office and talk to to the manager just to try and figure out what her final diagnosis/suggestion was for me still waiting! Also talking about my labs infront of receptionists so degrading!

Wont call you back. Her limit for listening is 5 minutes. Misses clear choices as possibilities for problem- doesn't make any connections but quick to add tests and labs to boost bill. Good doctor if you are never sick You should offer zero rating 1 is too much at certain times

I saw dr sousa for 2 annual checkups and one sick visit. I never felt truly examined by her. She seemed quick to write a script but not very interested in anything else. I got the feeling that she wasn't comfortable touching patients. I'm high risk for breast cancer so I really need someone who is going to be thorough and I didn't feel that she was. The office staff was always great though so I'm switching to someone else in the same practice.

I have had Dr Sousa for 3 years as my PCP. She is kind, courteous, on time, very astute. I would highly recommend her. You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Sousa is courteous, thorough, and a very good listener. She has a friendly way about her which puts her patients at ease. Her bedside manner is very professional as well. As a ( generally) skeptical 59 year old male, I am completely happy to have Dr. Sousa as my Primary Care Physician.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Gabrielle Sousa, who has been my primary M.D. for a few years now, As a middle aged man (or older) I was at first a little apprehensive about having a woman doctor, after always having a male M.D. I have found Dr. Sousa over the years to be VERY professional, kind, courteous, and put me at ease within seconds after our initial meeting at my first appt. I''m sure most patients would appreciate how gentle she is during exams. Dr. Sousa answered all my questions clearly, and I'm very pleased with her competence, and hope to have her as my Dr. for life.

rude, unprofessional, and unhelpful. Missed a common condition and misdiagnosed me.
