I had to follow up with Dr. Rios because my medication was needing changed. I schedule an appt and got in in the middle of the week. After reminding him of my condition and where we were in the prescription response process, he recommended a weaning process for the current medication. He took the time to explain the importance of following the prescription instructions and warned me of some of the side effects that I would experience. I was very thankful that he did this because some of them were strange and would of sent me into a panic if he didn't warn me that I would be experiencing, what I experienced. In my book (so to speak) that's awesome of a doctor to do that. Great Doctor and great job!!

I have been with Dr. Ríos a few year now. I don’t get sick a lot maybe once or twice per year. When I call to make an appointment to see him because I’m sick I expect to get seen ASAP as it always been with every Dr. I have been with. Unfortunately that does not happen here. When I call to schedule a sick visit they tell me “We are double booked, but we can see you at the end of next week” Ok. I was told that things had gotten better when he changed the people up I was told that things had gotten better when he changed the administrators. Here I am almost a year later trying to see him because I’m sick and I’m told once again that they are booked and they can see me in the middle of next week Because they only work until 1:30pm today. Never again will go to this Dr. or refer people to him. By the way this also happened when my children got sick, I had to bring them to the Emergency or those 24 hour places costin me way more.

I had an app at 9:45am today and I left the office at 11:15 am. I never saw the Doctor.

Very patient and polite. Will take time to listen to your health issues, BUT do not expect a nice greeting from his admin staff, particularly his female assitants. It seems like they never learned to say good morning, hello, how etc. They make you feel like they are there for a paycheck but devoid of devocion for the profession.

He was very degrading. His bedside manner was terrible. When I tried to refill a prescription a month later he refused to fill it, insisting that I go see him monthly for a PRN, as needed, medication. I'm 42 years old, work in the healthcare industry, and have more interaction with physicians than most people. I DO NOT recommend this physician if you are looking for a primary care physician.

Awesome Dr

I have seen Dr. Rios for several years now he is a very caring doctor who listens to your problems. He takes his time with the patients and is never in a rush compared to other Drs. I would highly recommend him to anyone

I met Dr. Rios while he was practicing at a small clinic in north central Indiana, @ 2012-2013. I was quite disappointed when he left to return to the Houston area, but fully understand and wish him the best. He is quite friendly and easy to speak with regarding problems. Never did I feel I was being rushed or that I lacked his complete attention. Most do not bother to review physicians when the care is satisfactory or above. I was quite impressed with Dr. Rios and it is my pleasure to give him a superior recommendation .

He is no longer in the US, according to his office he left for Germany almost a year ago and that was that. I was one of his patients and the only notice I got was a letter saying he left and had transferred his practice to another doctor. This unprofessional individual did not even give advance warning to allow time to find another option.
