So I am siting in my room at Redlands community hospital my procedure was a fusion of my l5 to s1 surgery through my stomach it took 2 hours I immediately after surgery feel great this doctor is most excellent I would give doctor Hopkins and staff here at Redlands a 10 if it were possible I feel very little pain the staff is very attentive food is great I recommend doctor Hopkins for his excellet work thank you very much I know you’ve made my life much better .

This Doctor performed 2 cervical fusions (Anterior & Posterior) back in 2006. Now 11 years later my "Quality of Life" that he claimed would be improved by having these surgeries has gone from bad to worse. Make sure you get a second, third, or fourth opinion before having any kind of spine fusions.

Just wanted to Thank Dr. Hopkins for giving my Life back...I was using a walker for about 3 years....had a severe lower back and leg pain for many years... After my surgery I was walking upright and no walker...! Thank You so much Dr. Hopkins... You're the Best!

I highly recommend Dr. Hopkins. If it wasn't for Dr. Hopkins, my son would be paralyzed. The surgery's that Dr. Hopkins performed was successful and the scar line came out in a perfect line.

Dr. Hopkins is an excellent surgeon! I was very nervous going into surgery for my back as all would be. He spent a good deal of time answering my questions during appointments, this is probably why his wait time was so long :). He was worth the wait. I feel amazing after 7 months and can believe I am still doing what I love. This doctor is honest and truthful. He will not sugar coat your injury or situation which I really appreciated. I would go back to him in a heartbeat!

I am writing because we are still having issues with the office staff at Dr. Hopkins. He is a great Dr. but majority of his staff sucks excuse my language. We are very frustrated, I had to go in person an sit there for 2-3 hours to wait on a prescription that was called in 7 days prior well 5 business day ( I went because that's the only way I can get something done) when the recording says call it in 24 hours ahead. My husband has real pain not just making it up but when the MA's are trying to question DR's orders ( why is he taking so much? Well that's what the DR. Prescribed and not until they go to school for a few years not 8 months they'll know), not wanting to release info to me because they are violating HIPPA but they release his info for almost a year. So did they realize they violated their patients confidentiality? Now when I called on 10/5 to ask if the EDD paperwork was ready or mail in? They said no it's not ready and we don't know when will it be ready but I called on… the 6th. and I was told it was filled out and mailed on the 2nd. somebody is lying nobody likes to lie to.

Dr Hopkins absolutely gave me my life back! I had a badly out of place L 5 with basically no disc. Chances of a complete recovery didn't look very good. One year later I am almost completely pain free, and back at work driving a truck over the road. I would recommend Dr. Hopkins to any one needing back surgery!

Dr. Gail E. Hopkins was fantastic diagnosed me right away, when no one else's knew what was wrong with me I would recommend him to anyone!!!!!!

My mom was referred to Dr. Hopkins for her worsening sciatica and he said he would refer her for physical therapy then waited a month to tell us he did not like her insurance. His office didn't even call us themselves! Instead, our primary care physician had to call his office to see what the hold up was. I understand doctors have very busy lives and you have multiple patients with needs, but your patients are still people who deserve a modicum of respect. If you don't care enough to help them then the least you can do is send them to someone who will.
