Dr. Gail Kaufman is THE best doctor for Gastroenterology in the city of Boston. She has diagnosed my problems and has prescribed meds that help me. I don't know what I would do without her. Sorry to see her retire - I will miss her. Joni Smith

Dr. Kaufman is an unusual doctor who truly listens, cares, and is an excellent diagnostician. She was the first doctor in over 20 years to listen to my symptoms, order appropriate tests, and diagnose me correctly. She is very bright, lively, attentive, asks clear and direct questions, takes notes, listens and takes her time, and has a great sense of humor. I know I am in good hands with Dr. Kaufman. I wish I had met her decades ago.

Doctor Kaufman is an absolute rarity among contemporary doctors; bright, thoughtful, knowledgeable and with great diagnostic skills . She is an attentive listener who also has a great sense of humor. She knows Medicine but not only her "specialization" like we see a lot of today among MDs. I would strongly recommend her to anybody who needs help from a good doctor.

Dr. Kaufman listened carefully, ordered appropriate tests, and referred me to a wonderful surgeon. She correctly diagnosed a problem that other doctors missed. I would definitely recommend her. She is a very caring doctor with a sense of humor that I appreciated.

Without a doubt the best Internal Mediciane physician I have ever come in contact with. Listens carefully to patient and demonstrates a caring attitude. Very accurate and thorough in dealing with the medical issue presented.
