Dr. Gail Millette Royal, MD

Dr. Royal is excellent. She's an effective communicator and excellent in explaining visual difficulties and tge appropriate procedures for corrected vision. I highly recommend using her expertise in retina ophthalmology.

As a curmudgeon in his 80's, I often find things to complain about. But I have zero complaints about the recent cataract surgeries performed by Dr. Royal. She is patient - answering all my questions, obviously talented and extremely competent. Her staff is professional and efficient, and office visit wait times were five to ten minutes at most. I highly recommend Dr. Royal for any eye surgery you may require.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Royal for 8 years. So glad she was recommended to us. True, you may be in waiting room longer than you care to but the care you receive once wth her is well worth it. You know that you and your eyes are getting the best treatment available.

Short tempered when questions asked. Not the temperament I want for my surgeon. New patient appointment 15 minutes with her. Wants to get in, do the eval. Tell you what she thinks, but no time for questions. If you want opthamologist or optometrist to do your glasses prescription, don't go there. On the job trained clinician does it and she signs off. Not sure how she gets away with that for insurance companies.

I trust Dr. Royal completely for the care of my one good eye. She is very professional and the staff is great.
