I saw this person when she worked with my primary Doc. Saw her on an emergency basis. She really wasn't all that interested in how I was doing (NOT good). Had been to the ER who told me to contact my physician withing 2 weeks. She was mad irritated cuz it was only 2 days. She proceeded to tell me that ppl like me, using scooters and w/chairs think you can't do anything. I needed to get up and exercise. She explained how to do them then showed me how. Guess by a miracle I could since one leg is missing and the other is good for pivoting. I went back t the office and saw another person. Mad MRI and other testing. When my chair and I went splat, I did some serious internal damage, tore upper body ligaments, damaged so much more. Her whole issue had been I was in seeing her before 2 weeks and then showing me how to do jumping jacks and I needed to to them 3x daily. Not to bright. I took care of my mom for many months while she was in Hospice care. I would NEVER allow this person near… anyone who needed this care. I ave to give her a 1 star rating as they don't offer a 0 star rating.

She has now left internal medicine practice and moved on to hospice. I'm in total agreement with the other two reviews. The patient before me used up more than their alloted time, so she didn't have time to complete my exam; she was using my time to get caught up. I was told by her staff to make another appointment to complete my wellness exam; which would cost me another doctor visit not covered 100% by my insurance. I find it hard to believe she went to hospice care, she has no bedside manner.

This Dr. needs to take more classes in how to treat a patient like "a person". She will not answer questions, will not spend time with you as a patient, will not address more than one problem per visit, does not follow up with questions on how you are doing on your next visit, refuses to recognise your concernes.

Dr. Gonzales and her office staff are not efficient or effective when dealing with insurance, even as a primary care doctor with a Medicare Advantage plan. In addition, Dr. Gonzales does not see herself as a patient advocate to get a problem addressed in a timely manner. She is anxious to prescribe strong medications and not anxious to answer questions or work with a patient to solve a problem.
