Dr. Galal Younis Gargodhi, MD

I have been seeing Dr. G for almost two years now, and would never consider going to anyone else. After going to innumerable doctors with all different specialties, none of whom helped me at all, I finally found Dr. G. He helped me tremendously, and still does. I felt unheard and passed around by all the other doctors I saw. Not Dr. G. He actually listened to me, and put me on a plan that is still working. He is so knowledgeable in his field. He truly cares about his patients. He is upbeat, positive, and has a kind and joyful heart. His office staff is very friendly and helpful. I have never waited more than ten minutes to be taken. The office is modern and clean. Dr. G is so thorough, and will not recommend any unnecessary procedures. All in all, Dr. G is a fabulous doctor, and I wouldn’t hesitate at all to recommend him. I strongly discourage anyone seeking proper medical care from going to Greater Atlanta Pain & Spine . I arrived on time for my 1:00 PM appointment , completed all of the required paperwork, and then waited over an hour before being seen by a nurse practitioner. I was later told that the doctor was out of town that day. The problem is that no one informed me when I made the appointment that I would not be seeing a doctor . Even more concerning, I was charged a doctor-level copay despite not seeing the doctor. The nurse practitioner diagnosed me with inflammation in my pelvis and knee and prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication, telling me, You can start taking it tonight, twice a day. However, when I contacted my pharmacy, they told me they had never received the prescription . I called the office again, but it was only 10 minutes before closing and no one answered the phone . The next day, I called again to ask them to send the prescription. Instead of the… anti-inflammatory medication they had discussed, they sent a prescription for Advil , which made no sense based on what I had been told during my visit. Two hours later, I called again because the correct prescription still had not been sent. They told me they needed to verify it first and would send it afterward. At 4:00 PM , I called yet again, and they claimed it had been sent, but then told me that the doctor still had not approved it. The prescription was finally sent to my pharmacy at 4:55 PM , after repeated phone calls and unnecessary delays. At that point, I completely lost confidence in this clinic and scheduled an appointment elsewhere. The doctor at the second clinic examined me and diagnosed me with radiating pain (radiculopathy) , explaining that it was not inflammation at all . Everyone understands that if the doctor is unavailable, a nurse practitioner may see patients. However, what is unacceptable is providing what appears to be an incorrect diagnosis, failing to send prescriptions as promised, giving inconsistent information, and making the patient chase the office multiple times just to receive basic care. To make matters worse, the staff's attitude was unfriendly and unprofessional. It felt as though they did not want to work simply because the doctor was away. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic. Patients deserve accurate diagnoses, timely treatment, and respectful service. Please be cautious before choosing Greater Atlanta Pain & Spine .

Dr. Gargodhi is an incredible doctor who is smart, knoweldgeable and really cares for his patients. His office is well run as his staff is great and highly recommend.
