Dr. Gale Arlon Hazen, MD

Had a New Patient Visit on Tuesday Feb 4th...AND I NEVER SAW THE DOCTOR...I was running late and called their office stating I would be 10 minutes late and if there was a problem, they would call me back at the number on file and reschedule. I never got any phone call saying not to come in. I get there exactly 10 minutes late, register, paperwork, etc. After waiting for one hour I finally get taken back to the Examination room...I wait another 20 minutes...I left. I spoke to the MA and said I was leaving and if she could reimburse my card and she couldn't, so she was kind enough to walk me across the hall where all the other staff was (Pain Management Dept) at. They voided the transaction. They did try to defend the doctor/facility stating that I was late, but 10 minutes does not justify 1 hour and 20 minutes! Really? That's insane and that's what I told the girls at the front desk. I at least should have been given the option of re-scheduling, yet no one came to me stating… that the Dr. was running really, really late, would you like to reschedule? Is this the way you treat all your new patients? It's unfortunate that this happened this way, so if you're a New Patient, just be prepared to wait...and wait...and wait...and no, I will NOT be rescheduling.

This was my 2nd OP with him won't accept any other couldn't be in better hands. God bless him.

Dr. Hazen has operated on me 3 times and got me out of a wheel chair. He is a great Dr. and I only go to him for my spinal problems.

After I left Dr. Hazen's office, I thought to myself that I would never let that doctor operate on me. I found him arrogant, rude, angry because I didn't have my MRI, his office is connected to my pain management Doctor's office, so since I wasn't told to bring a copy of my MRI I thought he would have it. He asked me why I was there and as I explained that my Pain Doctor suggested that I evaluate all of my options, he cut me off before I could explain. Almost every question he asked, he would cut me off. He even pointed out that the referring doctor was wrong about one of my symptoms and what I should pay attention to. I went into his office hoping to become educated in what my options were and I left with the impression that he felt like I wasted his time. If I could give 0 out 5 stars, I would have.
