Poor communication with patients. Doesn't offer alternative treatments and inform you of your options. It's he way ot the by way. Terrible bed side manner. I found him to arrogant, uncaring, bothered and rude.

It is very frustrating to deal with the staff. You can make request and leave a handful of messages, try to reschedule a office visit for weeks, but until you throw a fit you will be completely ignored. Custer is very arrogant and spends no time explaining. Every lab require a doctors visit with at least the RN so they get to zap you for another specialist copay for lab results and a blood pressure reading and weight check. I do not recommend.

Very poor communication. He seems to only give you the information he wants you to have so you will follow along with his prescribed treatment of the symptoms. For example, told me he had a 70 percent success rate with spleenectomy but never told me almost 50% of those go in remission from 3 day to 5 years after removal. This doctors relies a lot on his overall experiences with the general treatments of patients and tends to make rash decisions not based on the individual but the consensus. Perhaps after discussions with the doctor of what I expect his communication will improve.
