I felt this doctor did an excellent job. He schedule my appointment very quickly. He explained the procedure very well. His follow up was very friendly and in simple terms. I feel he is an excellent professional doctor.

I've had multiple procedures and visits with another GI doc over the past 20 years for a chronic GI condition. Dr Veerappan was attentive during my first visit. However, I was disappointed by his bedside manner after my procedure. He was aloof and rushed. He didn't take the time to answer my questions. I was still partly sedated while he came to talk to me. Furthermore, he performed a procedure during my scope without discussing it at any prior appointment. I had no time to decide if I wanted/needed this extra procedure.

Rude and laughed during banding appt for hemmroids - awful bedside manner. Procedure was quite painful and was supposed to be relatively pain free. He also treated family member for colitis and when txt didn't work never ordered a cat scan which would have showed stage 4 pancreatic cancer.
