Dr. Garret Carl Olson, DO

Dr. Garret Carl Olson is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen. I have visited twice in the last month and both times he was extremely rude. I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone and quite frankly I don’t think he deserves the right to even be practicing medicine.

I went to Bailey medical and they diagnosed me wrong. Went to er for st John's. Gave me what I needed, now I'm healing from a recluse bite.

My son had two visits to Owasso SJMC ER within three days. Main c/o severe abdominal pain. After viewing labs (elevated liver enzymes, CRP abnormal) and gall bladder ultrasound (normal), he discharged my son and told us to follow up with a gastroenterologist. Dr. Olsen knew my son was in extreme pain and unable to sit up or walk up right. I questioned his decision and he firmly stated there was no beds for my son and nothing else he would do. We discharged and I immediately called my son’s pediatrician who then called SJMC Tulsa Pediatric hospitalist and had him admitted for a surgical consult with Dr. Ranne. After reviewing labs and symptoms, Dr. Ranne did a Hidascan and EGD. Following day, my son had surgery. He ended up having chronic cholecystitis, inflamed appendix, and eosinophilic esophagitis. His pain before surgery was not able to be controlled with meds. Dr. Olsen neglected his duty to request transfer. He neglected to care about severe pain and abnormal labs. Our experience… was very disappointing and concerning!

Dr. Olson was extremely professional and I was given excellent care. I found him to be very knowledgeable and quick to diagnose my infection and provide relief. Throughout our conversation I felt very comfortable and he relieved my anxiety for hospitals in general. He will be the first doctor I ask for if I’m in a situation to return to the ER.

Worst er doctor of all times!

Absolute WORST bedside manner EVER. If you're looking for a cold hearted, uncompassionate doctor, look no further, Dr Olsen is the man. Cocky, conceited, disgusting.
