Dr. Garrett Lynch, MD

After being treated for a shoulder injury by Dr. Lynch 20 yrs ago I've been seeing him for other issues ever since! Why? He's an excellent doctor. He never tires, always personable, thorough in his examination of my joint issues, and doesn't hesitate to prescribe further testing when warranted and to be certain of damage suspected. He's energetic, covers all areas, asks and answers all questions. I'm a friendly, talkative patient and he never makes me feel rushed. I'm never kept waiting too long but if it's a few minutes I know it's because he really cares about his patients and is assisting someone ahead of me in just the same way. He's a super smart and amazing surgeon. 5 stars because he deserves it!

Dr. Lynch is a highly qualified orthopaedic surgeon. His knowledge of joints and damage due to arthritis is legendary. He treats the patient like a colleague who is a major player in rehabilitation of a damaged joint. He explores all options before choosing surgery as the last resort.

I have been a patient of Dr Lynch for over 30 years and have been very satisfied with every surgery that ha has preformed. They include elbows, knee and shoulder. The end result was a good recovery and the problem was resolved.

Dr. Lynch has performed several surgeries on me. The most recent surgery could not be done arthroscopic. He is an excellent doctor with the expertise to do surgery the old way. I’ve trusted him with my care for over 20 years.

He may be an OK Dr. but his treatment of patients is HORRIBLE. He is rude and insulting and don't even think of asking a question. I will never go back to his office i and tell everyone I know not to go as well I don't care how great a Dr. you think you are, its very unprofessional to be so rude.

I had rotator cuff surgery in both shoulders one in 2010 & 2014. Surgeries went extremely well and office staff was responsive to my needs. Fast forward to fall of 2017 - I had knee replacement surgery. The problems with the office staff and physician's assistant from a week before surgery until a month after were so numerous (wait times on phone calls of 40-60 minutes, saying they would call me back and not doing it, saying they faxed in a prescription/X-ray request that was not done, not communicating adverse reaction to meds. and allergens to doctor, and not returning phone calls for up to 3 days)that I had to seek help from a doctor in a different practice. I will not go back to this practice.

This is my second shoulder surgery with Dr. Lynch - the first one about 25 years ago. I have total confidence in him & would recommend him to others without hesitation. Also, the staff is always so friendly & kind. It's a very welcoming office to walk in to.

Outstanding staff; Dr. Lynch is superb! I had surgery on my knee for a torn meniscus (two places) and a knee cap that wasn't tracking correctly. They also have an outstanding physical therapy staff on site. Always courteous, professional and make every effort to meet your schedule--highly recommend them.

I had both rotator cuffs operated on 4 months apart. They both had very large tears which Dr. Lynch called "ginormous". It was 6 cm on the right shoulder. He is a fantastic surgeon. Within a year of PT. I had full range of motion and 95% of my strength back on the right and 100% on the left. He is a bit gruff but will take as much time as you need to understand your condition. The office staff in Annapolis isAWFUL so I started going to the Bowie office and they are fantastic and run close to on time. I waited 1hr 30 min in Annapolis for my appt. for courteous staff in Annapolis I would give them a minus 20!
