Dr. Garrick James Slate, MD

Dr. Garrick Slate is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist with 25 years of experience caring for women throughout their reproductive health journey. He earned his medical degree from the University of Debrecen Medical School and Health Science Centre and completed his residency training at Danbury Hospital, where he developed expertise in both routine and complex obstetric and gynecologic care.

Dr. Slate practices at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center and sees patients in New Albany, Mississippi and Dover, Delaware. His clinical focus includes managing abdominal pain during pregnancy and treating both chronic and acute pelvic pain conditions. He performs fetal ultrasounds and amniotic fluid assessments to monitor pregnancy health and provides emergency obstetric care when complications arise.
