We love Dr Ackerman! He has done a few surgeries for my husband, so when I needed a hip replacement, I knew Dr. Ackerman would be the best surgeon for the job! Surgery went excellent and recovery was quick, Dr. Ackerman and Jeneva were with me every step of way, all of my questions were addressed with caring and concern. The staff at Palm beach sports medicine are always very professional, efficient, and accommodating!

Dr Ackerman is the best! He was able to address my rotator cuff injury in a very timely manner, and answered all my questions as they came along. The office is very on top of things in all areas so a patient never feels as if they are just a number!! Highly recommend Dr Ackerman to anyone with ortho needs!!

Gary was great! Saw me on time. Explained how my surgery went. And provided excellent physical therapy. I used him for two shoulder surgeries and both went fine. Dr. Ackerman is unexcelled in his field. He did total knee replacement surgeries on both of my knees. I experienced minimal pain and relatively quick recovery from both procedures. His staff is wonderful (shout out to Jeneva) and the physical therapy department is staffed by knowledgeable and caring professionals. I cannot over state my regard for the entire staff at Palm Beach Sports Medicine.

Dr. Ackerman and his staff are awesome. Dr. Ackerman is a master surgeon for both knees and hips. He did my left knee replacement and then a left hip. I could barely walk before the surgeries. I am 15 months post op on the knee and 3-month post op on the hip and walk without a limp and I am pain free. Dr Ackerman and his entire staff are top notch and I would highly recommend to anyone with a knee or hip problem. Dr. Ackerman and his staff listen and truly care about their patients.

Dr. Ackerman is great orthopedics surgeon. I had total knee replacement and he personally called me when I got home to check on me. His office staff is amazing and friendly. Doctor Ackerman and his team were knowledgeable, professional tremendous bedside manner and an excellent excellent excellent result I had a left shoulder reverse total shoulder replacement and when I went in, I had experienced tremendous pain since then I have had no pain and 90% range of motion has come back and it’s only been a month and a half I look forward to having my right shoulder done with Doctor Ackerman next year. He is far and above an excellent, excellent surgeon.

After serious osteoarthritis I took a fall at work and fractured my tibial plateau. There was severe bowing of the leg and Doctor Ackerman not only did a total knee replacement but also straightened the leg to perfection. The office as well as his assistant were exceptional at dealing with the workman's comp requirements. I would highly recommend Palm Beach Sports Medicine and Dr Gary for surgical joint replacements.

Dr Ackerman has replaced both of my knees and one of my wife's knees. We have had outstanding results from all three surgeries. My most recent surgery went well, however I overdid it and tore some sutures out of my quad muscle. We did not realize what was happening, I continued with therapy and played a round of golf. When I returned for a visit, doc knew something was not right. He opened it back up and found that I had torn all of the sutures out of the muscle. He repaired it and explained that it would take a while to heal. It has been 5 months since the quad repair and I am feeling great. I would and do recommend Dr Ackerman to anyone that has any knee issue at all. Cudos to him and his amazing team
