Dedicated interventional practice at the Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute (MCVI), Baptist Health, South Florida; seven interventional radiologists, one neurointerventional radiologist; not-for-profit health care institution with state-of-the-art clinical care; Clinical practice encompasses all aspects of intervention including: aneurysm repair, balloon angioplasty and stenting for peripheral arterial disease; renal angioplasty and stenting for hypertension and renal insufficiency, embolization of uterine fibroids, and a variety of interventions for the treatment of cancer, including chemoembolization and radiofrequency ablation.

After 20 years at Indiana University, including nine years on the faculty, joined the MCVI in 1990 as Medical Director of Interventional Radiology. Now Assistant Medical Director of the Institute and Medical Director of Research & Outcomes (since 1998). Also Voluntary Professor at the School of Medicine, University of Miami and Courtesy Professor at the …Cardiovascular Engineering Center, Florida International University. Founding editor of the Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, former president of the Cardiovascular & Interventional Radiology Research & Education Foundation (CIRREF), member of the American Medical Association, American Heart Association, the American College of Cardiology, the American College of Radiology, the Association of University Radiologists, and the Society of Interventional Radiology. Member of the Board of Trustees of the American Board of Radiology and of the Radiological Society of North America.
