Summary
Before joining Kaiser Permanente in 2004, I was in practice for nearly 20 years in Arizona. I began practice there as a nephrologist (kidney specialist), but over the years became more drawn to general internal medicine and geriatrics. My position at Kaiser Permanente allows me to use the variety of skills and experience from my previous practice and training to benefit our patients in continuing care. I believe it is important to view each of our patients as part of a full continuum of his or her life, not just a single "snapshot in time."
