Dr. Gary Fred Bloemer, MD

He is too busy to see all patients. Most of the time I saw a nurse who seemed lost as to what my problem was.

I will be forever greatful to Dr. Bloemer and his staff for fitting me into his already full holiday schedule. I had travelled from San Francisco with worsening bi-lateral knee pain and was expected to be healthy to care for my ailing 82 yr old mother and siblings. Dr. Bloemer diagnoses and treatment allowed me to be myself in less than 24 hrs. He is knowledgeable,experienced kind,and patient. Thanks

Dr. Bloemer did a total hip replacement on my hip two years ago. At that time, I could not walk very well. I could no longer do my grocery shopping, go to the drug store, or go out for dinner with my husband. My life was getting to work and coming home on the couch. My weekends were spent on the couch. After my hip replacement and recovery, I have no complaints. For most of the year, I could not tell that I had anything done. I do not have pain with my hip any longer. Only some sore muscles when the fall/winter months appear.

Dr. Bloemer performed a total knee replacement on my right leg. At FOUR WEEKS, I was already driving. Excellent surgery and follow-up. I would trust Dr. Bloemer with my life!

I told Dr. Bloemer that I could not have synthetic opiates. He told me the prescription he had written had such a low dose of them that there was no danger. Within a week I was deep into psychosis. I missed my follow up appointment since I was hospitalized for psychosis. When I told the receptionist this, I was billed for the office visit anyway. I don't find that impressive treatment in the least.
